The Single Vision Connection
Single Vision is the first Member Care program designed to precisely address the
needs of single adults who serve cross-culturally. The renewal retreat has been in
existence for 15 years with annual programs held in Europe and Asia. Single
Vision was formed to minister to all mission organizations with the focus to serve
the needs of single servants globally. All staff members have long-term overseas
experience as single adults and speak from personal experience of what it means
to thrive and maintain balance in a constant changing atmosphere abroad as

HOUSING & MEALS
- Accommodations will be at 'The House of Peace', a Christian guest house that is
located 20 KLM outside of Basel. The guest house is located in Germany at the
base of the Black Forest and provides modern clean facilities.
- Participants are housed in rooms that sleep 2 persons. Each room has a chair
and desk, and private rooms have a sofa. Private rooms can be reserved for a
fee of 50 Euros. The bathroom and shower are located on the hall.
- Meals consist of a breakfast, lunch, and dinner prepared by the guest house.
Early Registration Fee
350 Euro for a double occupancy room; paid on arrival to the program. It is possible
to pay in Euros or US dollars (the current exchange rate will be used to calculate fee
and will be about 385 USD).
Late Registration Fee
After May 5th there is a 20 Euro (USD 25) surcharge for late registration.
50 Euro (USD 55) the pre-registration fee is paid in advance.
Note: the pre-registration fee is in addition to the program fee & nonrefundable.

A double occupancy room, meals, and activities scheduled in the program.
There will be a 'free day' if a participant would like to schedule an extra activity.
Travel to the program and 'free day' activities are not covered in the program fee.
Payment can be made in Euros or US Dollars. Bank ATM machines are readily
available for use of Euro cards, ATM cards, or credit cards. Please note that most
bank machines have a limit on how much cash can be withdrawn in one transaction.
Payment can also be made with US bank checks.
The nearest airport is the Basel Euro Airport, also called, the Basel Mulhouse
Freiburg Airport. You can reach the program site from the airport by taking a 10
minute bus ride to the main train station, then coming to the program site by train.
The trip will take between 45-50 minutes depending on the coordination of flight
and public transportation schedules. A Single Vision shuttle will be provided from
the local train station to the guest house. Airport pick-up is available for 15 Euros.
Suggested arrival time to the program site is between 1:00-5:00 PM on Saturday,
June 17, 2017. The program ends after breakfast on Sunday, June 25, 2017,
please schedule flights to depart after noon.

Available spaces will be reserved on a first-come-first-serve basis. To reserve a

1. U.S. dollar check from a U.S. bank in the amount of 55 USD.

Note: If bank fees are required to cash the check, then the check will be held.
Participants will be asked to pay the full amount in cash when registering at
the program site to avoid additional costs.
